I recently modified this old Ibanez RG340 for a friend. It needed a ton of work. The first few frets were unplayable. I ended up re-fretting it completely. He also wanted the a new bridge pickup, new wiring, shielding, a new tremolo, and a d tuna installed.
Fretwork
As I mentioned before, the first few frets were worn down and unplayable. I started by pulling all the old frets out.

As you can see they were really crusty and worn down. Once I got all the frets pulled i cleaned up the fret slots and prepped the board for new frets. More posts to come soon
